隨著安全監控需求快速成長，同時各式智慧影像裝置(如監控攝影機、手機、行車紀錄器等)廣泛地被使用，巨量的影像資料持續地被蒐集監看與儲存，但如何有效的從影像資料中找到需要的訊息卻成了費時費力的工作，一方面目前的處理速度不足，以致無法及時消化資訊，趕上資料產生的速度，另一方面由於各式影像資料來源格式以及影像分析軟體的形式皆各不相同，皆是資料處理使用上會遭遇的一些困難。本雲端智慧影像分析及檢索系統提供了一套完整的雲端化平台[1][2]解決方案，可快速處理大量影像資料，具備搭配各式智慧影像分析引擎的彈性，有效達成快速從影帶中搜尋提供重要訊息的目的。
Abstract
With the rapidly growing demand for security monitoring, and all kinds of intelligent imaging devices (surveillance cameras, cell phones, dashboard cameras, etc.) being widely used, a huge amount of image data is continuously collected, monitored, and stored. However, extracting the important information from image data has become a time-consuming job. On one hand, current processing speed is not able to digest the information generated in time. On the other hand, the variety of video source formats and different image analysis software tools are the main difficulties encountered in image data processing. Our cloud-based intelligent image analysis and retrieval system provides a complete cloud platform solution that can not only quickly handle large amount of image data, but also elastically adapt to all kinds of intelligent image analysis engines to achieve fast and effective search. With these capabilities, our solution achieves the goal of retrieving important messages from video data efficiently and effectively.
